Training at the HackAdemy

The Cyber HackAdemy is a partnership between the University of Naples Federico II and Accenture, aimed at training cybersecurity experts.

The training program focuses on developing expertise in cybersecurity within the context of advanced network architectures. In such environments, cybersecurity must be addressed with a holistic approach, incorporating security measures from the earliest design phases and accounting for the heterogeneity of network platforms involved, as well as the end-to-end services they support. The HackAdemy adopts a hands-on approach, framed within the broader context of Challenge-Based Learning (CBL). The training is structured to integrate in-person learning, self-directed study, and experiential education through group projects designed to tackle practical challenges of increasing complexity.

Professionals trained at the HackAdemy will acquire skills related to:

  • Network security techniques and protocols
  • Cloud infrastructure security
  • IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystems
  • “Offensive Defense” methodologies
  • The use of modern Machine Learning techniques for analyzing large datasets for security purposes
  • The application of Generative Artificial Intelligence to automate attack and defense strategies in cybersecurity

Students who successfully complete the program will be offered a 6-month internship at one of Accenture’s Italian offices and/or a job offer, contingent on their performance and results.
